Still trying to get all my levels, settings and battery box settings dialed in correctly. I think I'm getting there. Awesome show before a packed house. I hadn't seen AIC live since '91, so I was bit skeptical but they totally exceeded my expectations. William DuVall (lead singer) was sick, but you wouldn't have known this unless he mentioned it....which he does towards the middle of the show. He's obviously not Layne, but I think he does an admiral job on the old songs and I dig the new songs as well. My favorite of new tracks has to be "Last of My Kind" that one rocks! And it was just as good live. Security was pretty lax at the door as I was easily able to bring my equipment in. But, once inside, they were everywhere....shinning their flashlights in the face of anyone who held up the cameras to long in fear that they were recording video. My seat was directly behind the mixing board, center stage. The only problem with that is, I had an isle seat. And with everyone having to make beer runs, piss breaks, and security running up and down with those damn flashlights...needless to say, it got to be a little nerve-wracking at times... But, through all of that I just said fuck it...I wasn't gonna worry about shit unless some asshole security started tapping on my shoulder and asked "Hey son, just what the fuck are those fuzzy black things hanging from your shirt collar?" Which thankfully never happened.:) *This is a 24bit/96kHz recording. You will need to use a program like dbpoweramp music convert/ripper/burner to convert to CD and listen to it that way. www.dbpoweramp.com Please feel free to trade this as much as you wish, but please keep as is and do not convert to MP3 and trade that way.
