Got this on CDR several years ago and I don't know 
the exact lineage. It's an aud. recording and 
definitely 
doesn't have much if any cassette in the lineage. The 
original recording has several 
dropouts and level 
changes at the beginning of the first track. Since the 
dropouts are never in 
both channels at once, I was 
able to extract in mono and get a continuous signal. 
At this point 
all I had left to do was adjust the level 
changes and then create a false stereo image & blend 
it 
into the remainder of the song at about 40 seconds 
into it. The remainder of the recording is 
untouched 
and excellent quality, definitely worth the download.
