Great show by the newly re-united Cars (sadly minus Ben, of course). They played before a packed house last night, and really had the crowd into it. While there is absolutely no way that Ben could not be missed (I feel he was the heart and soul of the band, while Ric was always the brains), that does not diminish the fact the current Cars are still an excellent band. Their new album, "Move Like This", is better than anyone could fairly expect and the songs included in the live show came off really well. The guy standing next to me kept saying to his friend, after each new song was played, that he was going to have to get the new album because the songs sounded great. Not sure that this, or any of the other recordings out on DIME, do those songs true justice so just go buy it!! And don't miss them if you have a chance to see them on one of the few remaining tour dates. Enjoy! The Songs: Intro.
