Starclassic. Location: First elevation and seven rows in from centre stage. Notes: The headlining act after their brilliant support act, Heart (see torrent http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=378529), Def Leppard definitely gave its fans what they wanted. I'm not quite sure what it was since I'm admittedly not much of a fan and was asked to go to this gig but judging by the crowd's reactions, they got it! :) To repeat what I said before in my notes for Heart, let me start out with the obvious ... yes, I am a metal and prog fan first and foremost. That said, I am always up for a challenge when recording material that I may not necessarily be a fan of. There are a few tunes which definitely rock for me but that's pretty much it. I loved them as a kid and grew out of them at the age of 10 when I discovered thrash metal. The rest is history. Unfortunately, because of this, I can't really consider myself worthy of reviewing the show, especially without offending the real fans out there. My only advice will be to listen to the samples and if it's what you want to hear, then feel free to download it! As for the technical stuff, the sound guy for this one did mighty cool job though once again, the acoustic pieces did suffer somewhat in level. I didn't want to mess with these pieces so much though because their feel was completely different and justified in how they sounded. That and the balance with the crowd and the contrast with the electric sections really gave it more impact where it was needed. Above all else of course, enjoy! ...and please, don't sell this bootleg, otherwise you're just plain old scum. That and Phil will knock you
