The finale of this year's BBC electric proms saw Neil Diamond playing songs from
his new album and featured guest spots 
from Lulu and Amy McDonald. Captured direct to disc fromthe FM source, this 
needed no additional tweaking. The volume
was as loud as I dared to record it without risking overdriving the recorder inputs.

Neil Diamond (for those few who don't know him) is one of the great American 
pop songwriters of the last 50 years. Here
he is showcasing his career (and publicising his new album, naturally).
