Billy Joel Spectrum Arena Philadelphia, PA October 14, 1993 "Dedicated to Ed Sciaky" Source: Cassettes (low gen?) --> TEAC tape deck w600r --> realtek audio manager HD --> Audacity --> Wav --> FLAC Front End 8 --> Upload Description: Nice show from Billy and band in 1993. If you recall this was a pretty nice tour, and Billy was in good form. My source was a cassette trade years ago, probably around 1994, so this might be a low gen recording. Running it through audacity it did look like it might have been eq'd some. This show is particularly nice because of Summer Highland Falls, which is introduced as "something worked out at rehearsal" and the presence of 'Captain Jack' in the encores, where Billy thanks Philly for what the city has done for his career over the years. The recording itself, to me, is really nice for 1993, full sound, no interruptions. You will really enjoy this one if you don't have it. Billy also dedicates 'Scenes' to former WMMR DJ Ed Sciaky, who helped launch his career in Philly, and who died in 2004 from diabetes complications. From the Blackout archives. Setlist: 1.
