Taper: Don O (normal_dude) This was the last show I taped in California prior to moving to Central Illinois in 2000 and my last ever at the Edge nightclub. I always enjoyed taping at the Edge as the security were always oblivious even if they were a tad over-enthusiastic at some shows. I vividly remember watching a bald, steroid-enhanced freak smashing a cassette deck on the stacks in front of me acting as if he had just stopped a terrorist attack...what a tool, thankfully it did not affect my recording of the Dream Theater show that night. Jack introduces his son James for his 21st birthday, and comments that he can never kick the shit out of him since Jack never did when he was bigger than him. A good time had by all and a really nice clear recording, only drawback is the guy who was shouting for 'Don't Tell Me You Love Me' through the entire set. Enjoy -Don
