Got tickets to this show by accident really. I had never heard of RATM before the show a radio station called my restaurant asking me for the funniest delivery-story I have ever heard as an owner. I retold how one of my delivery-drivers had delivered an order to a rather large gal in her mid-40s that hadn't seen the clean side of a wet sponge or a bar of soap in many years. She answered the door in only a robe and offered to "trade" for the cost of the pizza. My driver states he refused, but he was gone for a long time... Needless to say the tickets were awarded to me over the air and I saw my first Rage show. Great show in a relatively small venue considering I saw RATM about 1 year later at Shoreline Ampitheater. (a little over 3 times the size) The entire show was general admission and the fans took full advantage of the open area to mosh. Big thanks to my always present taping pal Tom for pulling me out of the way of more than one idiot trying to bring me into the slam-fest. Great recording taped right up in front of the stage.
